【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversavarietyofcarbon,alloy,andmartensiticstainlesssteelnutsinthesizerangex00BC;through4in.andmetricM6throughM100nominal.Italsocoversausteniticstainlesssteelnutsinthesizerange1/4in.andM6nominalandabove.Thesenutsareintendedforhigh-pressureorhigh-temperatureservice,orboth.Gradesubstitutionswithoutthepurchaser''spermissionarenotallowed.1.2Barsfromwhichthenutsaremadeshallbehot-wrought.Thematerialmaybefurtherprocessedbycenterlessgrindingorbycolddrawing.Austeniticstainlesssteelmaybesolutionannealedorannealedandstrain-hardened.WhenannealedandstrainhardenedausteniticstainlesssteelisorderedinaccordancewithSupplementaryRequirementS1,thepurchasershouldtakespecialcaretoensurethat8.2.2,SupplementaryRequirementS1,andAppendixX1arethoroughlyunderstood.1.3Supplementaryrequirements(S1throughS8)ofanoptionalnatureareprovided.Theseshallapplyonlywhenspecifiedintheinquiry,contract,andorder.1.4Thisspecificationisexpressedinbothinch-poundunitsandinSIunits.However,unlesstheorderspecifiestheapplicablex201C;Mx201D;specificationdesignation(SIunits),thematerialshallbefurnishedtoinch-poundunits.1.5Thevaluesstatedineitherinch-poundunitsorSIunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.Withinthetext,theSIunitsareshowninbrackets.
