【摘要】:Thisguideisacompilationofstandardsintendedtoprovideassistanceinselectingappropriatenondestructiveexaminationforadvancedceramics,andinturn,toprovideguidanceforperformingtheexamination,aswellasensuringtheproperperformanceoftheequipment.1.1Thisguideidentifiesanddescribesstandardproceduresandmethodsfornondestructivetestingofadvancedceramicsusingradiology,ultrasonics,liquidpenetrants,andacousticemission.1.2Thisguideistoidentifyexistingstandardsfornondestructivetestingthathavebeendeterminedtobe(orhavebeenmodifiedtobe)applicabletotheexaminationofadvancedceramics.Thesestandardshavebeengeneratedby,andareunderthejurisdictionof,ASTMCommitteeE-7onNondestructiveTesting.Selectionandapplicationofthesestandardstobefollowedmustbegovernedbyexperienceandthespecificrequirementsineachindividualcase,togetherwithagreementbetweenproduceranduser.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Theinch-poundunitsgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
