【摘要】:ThisstandarddefinesanetworkedlocationsystemthatprovidesX-Ycoordinatesanddatatelemetry.ThesystemutilizesRTLStransmittersthatautonomouslygenerateadirect-sequencespreadspectrumradiofrequencybeacon.ThesedevicesmaybefieldprogrammableandsupportanoptionalExcitermodethatallowsmodificationoftherateoflocationupdateandlocationoftheRTLSdevice.Thisstandardalsodefinesthesemodes,butdoesnotdefinethemeansbywhichtheyareaccomplished.Theseareleftasvendor-optionalfeatures.Thesebeaconsshalltransmitatapowerlevelthatcanfacilitatereceptionatrangesofatleast300metersopenfieldseparationbetweenthetransmitterandreceiver.Eachreceivershallbecapableofreceivingandprocessingdatafromaminimumof120tagbeaconspersecond.SuchRTLStransmittersshallbefullycompliantwithUSradiofrequencyregulatoryrequirementsandshallhavethebroadestpossibleinternationalfrequencycompliance.RTLSenablestheusertolocate,trackandmanageassetswithintheinfrastructureofthesystemonareal-timebasis.ThenominallocationdataprovidedbytheRTLSshallbewithina3-meterradiusoftheactuallocationofthetransmittingRTLStransmitter.TheRFtransmissionsarelowpower,compatiblewith,andshallnotinterferewithexistingstandardizedIEEE802.11wirelesscommunicationnetworks,asperartifacttestdocument,andsystemscompliantwithANSIINCITS256.
