【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesanelectrochemicalmethodtodeterminesusceptibilitytointergranularcorrosionofsolution-heat-treatablealuminiumalloys,thatis2XXX,6XXX,7XXXand8XXXalloys,withoutprotectivecoatingsandinvariousageingconditions.ThisInternationalStandardisapplicabletocastandwroughtheat-treatablealuminiumalloysintheformofcastings,forgings,plates,sheets,extrusions,andsemi-finishedorfinishedparts,inordertocarryoutacomparativeassessmentofalloysofdifferentgradesandthicknessdependingontheirchemicalcompositionandotherfactors,andalsotocheckthethermalprocessingqualityofthetestedmaterials.Thetestresultsprovideinformationtohelptodeterminetheintergranularcorrosionresistanceandthermalprocessingqualityofthetestedmaterials(seeClauses8and9).Thetestresultscannotberegardedasabsolute,becausetheyarenotapplicabletoallenvironmentsthatcanbemetinservice.Theyarebestusedinarelativemanner,tocomparetheintergranularcorrosionresistanceofvariousheatsofsolution-heat-treatablealuminiumalloys.
