【摘要】:Theuseofthisguideisvoluntaryandisintendedforuseasaproceduresguideforselectionandapplicationofspecifictypesofstraingagesforhigh-temperatureinstallations.Noattemptismadetorestrictthetypeofstraingagetypesorconceptstobechosenbytheuser.Theprovisionsofthisguidemaybeinvokedinspecificationsandproceduresbyspecifyingthosewhichshallbeconsideredmandatoryforthepurposeofthespecificapplication.Whensoinvoked,theusershallincludeintheworkstatementanotationthatprovisionsofthisguideshownasrecommendationshallbeconsideredmandatoryforthepurposesofthespecificationorprocedureconcerned,andshallincludeastatementofanyexceptionstoormodificationsoftheaffectedprovisionsofthisguide.1.1Thisguidecoverstheselectionandapplicationofstraingagesforthemeasurementofstaticstrainuptoandincludingthetemperaturerangefrom425to650x00B0;C(800to1200x00B0;F).Thisguidereflectssomecurrentstate-of-the-arttechniquesinhightemperaturestrainmeasurement,andwillbeexpandedandupdatedasnewtechnologydevelops.1.2ThispracticeassumesthattheuserisfamiliarwiththeuseofbondedstraingagesandassociatedsignalconditioningandinstrumentationasdiscussedinRefs.(1)and(2).Thestrainmeasuringsystemsdescribedarethosethathaveproveneffectiveinthetemperaturerangeofinterestandwereavailableatthetimeofissueofthispractice.Itisnottheintentofthispracticetolimittheusertooneofthegagetypesdescribednorisittheintenttospecifythetypeofsystemtobeusedforaspecificapplication.However,inusinganystrainmeasuringsystemincludingthosedescribed,theproposermustbeabletodemonstratethecapabilityoftheproposedsystemtomeettheselectioncriteriaprovidedinSection5andtheneedsofthespecificapplication.1.3Thedevicesandtechniquesdescribedinthispracticemaybeapplicableattemperaturesaboveandbelowtherangenoted,andformakingdynamicstrainmeasurementsathightemperatureswithproperprecautions.Thegagemanufacturershouldbeconsultedforrecommendationsanddetailsofsuchapplications.1.4Thereferencesareapartofthispracticetotheextentspecifiedinthetext.1.5Thevaluesstatedinmetric(SI)unitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationpurposesonly.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
